I got the brown boots with cognac colored toe & pull tabs. These boots were not what I was expecting at all. The quality for a pair of “cowboy boots” were disappointing. However, they were very comfortable! Usually the rule of thumb for boots is to size up a half size or full size. With these, that’s not necessary as they aren’t stiff boots. If you’re a boot collector like me, these specific pair won’t be a good addition. If you’re not looking for boots like Corral, Circle G, Durango, Justin’s.. etc then these would likely be fine for you. I also ordered the tan pair that have yet to come in. Hoping this pair I returned are lower quality due to the fake leather appearance on the pull tabs and toe area. We’ll see.Now to be fair, I also ordered a couple pairs of ankle boots from this same brand and I did keep those. The quality is quite better! . They don’t have added fake leather so I’m sure that helps their appearance. They’re higher quality, & I have those sat beside my Corral boots.UPDATE: I just received these boots in tan, & I’m definitely keeping these! I’m assuming the one pair I got first appeared cheaper because of the added brown leather. The solid tan ones are adorable and super super comfortable! For synthetic boots, I’m actually impressed and happy these are as good as they are. I had to update my review because I actually liked these a lot, and didn’t want to leave a negative review on just one iffy pair. I would suggest straying away from the brown ones with cognac leather on the toe, & pull tabs. Otherwise, these are great little boots!
