I was expecting these to be a bit heavier considering I was coming from some composite Amblers safety trainers, they actually feel lighter which i'm not sure if its the extra support around my ankles or just because it's better made, they are comfy out of the box and seem to be water resistant (Not worn them out in the rain/sleet/snow as of yet.) They have good support seem well made, I was recommended these off a family member who has had 2 pairs in the last 8 years, upto now it's been a good recommendation.
