Good purchase.It's not so easy to find an all-leather boot without adornments and elastic everywhere. The leather is smooth and sturdy - meaning they won't peel or scuff easily. I hadn't realized that the inside is warmly lined - it's not furry but adds some warmth. The insole is cushioned enough that you're not walking on a hard sole, but it's not bulky.I have muscular calves but don't quite fit into the wide calf boot category. My calves are about 15" at their widest, but it's always hard to gauge if boots will fit based on the provided calf circumference. Out of the box, these did not zip past the base of my calf muscle. I sprayed on some leather stretch (diluted rubbing alcohol) and was able to stretch the leather to fit my calves perfectly. They are snug, but not tight. The top outside edge does not bow out like other boots do when the lower part of the calf is tight. Love them. They seem well-made and seem like they should last!These boots took me by surprise! They came in individual boot bags. They are lined with a fabric I expect will wear off with time, but for now makes the boot super comfortable on bare legs. They have cushioned support and fit like a glove. I would have like the zipper area to be better finished (they slit they leather rather than folded back and hemmed), but they give the look I was looking for with amazing fit, great comfort, and a great price point. Shipping was very quick and customer service was helpful. I'm a size 9 with somewhat wide feet and the 9 fit a little tight. There wasn't an option for half sizes. The shaft is pretty standard, my calves are pretty standard so it didn't feel tight. I wish they carried a size 10 because I really like them but unfortunately I have to return.I am very pleased with these boots. They are comfortable and very well made. I had purchased another pair from Sam Edelman and had to return them because they hurt my feet. My feet are not a true wide but borderline. These don’t press anywhere on the parts that hurt in other shoes/boots (big toe joint). I have average calves and there is plenty of room if I want to tuck pants/leggings inside.Love these boots! I can wear a size 71/2-8 in shoes but I almost always order a 8 in all the boots ?that I order.I think they r stylish, flattering, comfortable, and sexy! Also like this pair because the heels r not really high. I'm 5'9" which is tall enough lol! I certainly don't need to add 3-5 more inches to my height. I tried them on with a medium thick sock, but there's enough room for a thicker sock without them feeling too tight. They come up to about an inch to two inches below my knee. I would recommend ? buying these boots!Really like this boot. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that there is a little tab on back of boot that is supposed to snap shut. One boot is fine, but snap on other boot comes loose and makes noise when I walk. I hope I can come up with a solution.I ordered a size 6 and the boots came in size 37 which is equal to Size 7 in US.
