So cute fit like a charm im kinda in between a 8-8.5 and these fit perfectly with a bit of room for comfort. Money well spent , now I have cute shoes to go with so many outfits including dresses for fall .Love these boots, fit perfect, i suggest u go up size, for socks.But must return for their flat over the knee winter boots.I just can't walk in them, but it's because I have balance issueThese boots are awesomely cute. Don't know how they will wear with age because I have only had them a short time. I wore them to a Shrek themed birthday party as part of a Puss costume. They were perfect for that. Also cute as a dressing up and going out kind of boot. Like!While I loved the look of these boots, I had to return them. They came with obvious glue spots on the suede all over the boots. And then there's the comfort. I typically wear an 8 in boots, and these were a little small with no socks on. There was also like a built in hard part that wrapped around the back of the foot and the sides of the ankles. When I walked in the boots, that part was cutting into my ankles. Maybe I just need to go up a half size. Lastly, the ties on the back look shoelaces that came from sneakers. Kind of an odd choice given the boots are very elegant. They could have used a better material for the ties that matched the overall style of the boots.I’m 5’11”, 158 lbs, size 25-26 (4-6) jeans, size 11 shoe. I have muscular legs which can be hard to fit with tall boots.Height of boots: As shown in one of the photos, these come about 1.5” above the top of my knee. I have been looking for thigh high or above the knee that is higher than these. The other over the knee boots I’ve purchased come only to the middle of my knee.Fur lining: it’s in the foot area and goes about 4” above the ankle. It does poof out the ankle area a little, but not that others would probably notice. My husband didn’t notice at all until i asked him specifically and then he did. Definitely not enough for me to dislike the boots...I’d just prefer they didn’t make my ankles thicker.Fit: I love the way these fit. I’m a size 11 shoe and they fit perfectly as far as sizing goes. Plenty of room for my toes if I wear a THIN sock. A thick sock wouldn’t work for me. I don’t prefer thick socks with fashion type boots anyway.Comfort: I can see how some complain about hurting. I’m thinking an insert may help with how hard they feel on the bottoms of the feet. The lower heel is perfect for me since I’m so tall. They’re still sexy. I wouldn’t say they’re the most uncomfortable shoes/boots I have, but I wouldn’t gush over how comfy they are.Slippery: Others have mentioned how slippery these boots are. Yup! Nearly fell when I walked on my hardwood floors in them! The bottoms have this velvet-type material on them. I don’t quite understand why. I am wondering if one could just rough them up with sandpaper or get something to stick to them so they aren’t so slippery.Smell: I’ve noticed people mentioning the chemical smell. Yes, there was a hint of it, but nothing terrible IMO. I’m pretty sensitive to smells and this didn’t bother me. Also, the smell disappeared after about an hour.Ties: they seem to be holding the boots up after only wearing them a short time around my house while I decide if I’ll keep them. They do jingle a tiny bit, but it’s NOT BAD at all and this kind of stuff usually bothers me.Color: I ordered KHAKI and not quite sure if that’s what I got even though the box says khaki. These are definitely a mid to dark BROWN. I was really needing a color more true to a khaki. They’re nice, but I may exchange for a lighter color ...or I may keep them since they’re such an inexpensive boot!Material: The faux suede is very soft...I keep touching them, they’re so soft. Ha!Packaging: they were shipped in a shoebox which was in a garment bag, not another box so the shoebox got a little damaged. This didn’t harm the boots.Overall, they are super cute and definitely worth the putchase! So inexpensive! They’d be 5 stars if the soles were a little more cushy, less slippery, and if the color was more true to the photos and to the “khaki” description. I can’t knock a star off for not being tall enough for me because that’s my fault for being so dang tall. At least the actually go above my knee...hoping they stay there with the ties.I’ll update this review after wearing them extensively if I decide to keep them. I’m sure I will! I’d say, go for it if you’re not sure about purchasing!This is a hot& cold review but overall I really like them. These aren’t comfortable after a few hours but that’s fine with me, it’s my cue to go home haha. They’re super sexy and not so uncomfortable that you don’t want to wear them, perfect for going out. They’re a pain to get on over jeans, but once you do they’re super cute. Over bare skin is a lot easier but I personally have to cinch the tie super tight so that they don’t fall down around my knees - again, but once you do, you’re good to go.I bought a pair of boots like these from express about 3 years ago and now need to replace….it has been a STRUGGLE.I have a wide foot with large calves and big thighs so it’s hard to hit on all three. These boots DID. I normally wear a 9, but ordered a 10 to accommodate width.Main Positives:-I’m 5’4 and am happy with how high the boots sit on my thigh.-They seem to have some type of padding in them and are very comfy so far.-The toe box is wider than what I would expect for a normal shoe so I am not sure how they would work for a narrow foot since they work very well for my wide foot.-I don’t feel like they cut into my thigh meat like others I’ve tried on.Cons:-I wish the heel was higher or slimmer, they’re very casual.-They feel a little cheap and I’m not sure they match their price point.I’m 45yrs old. 5’1” 105lbs. I have self proclaimed “CHICKEN LEGS” and I struggle to buy boots like these. Not only did they fit my scrawny caves and thighs really well, THEY DIDN’T SLIDE DOWN.I did cheat a bit and tied them around the front, but they looked cute still and I had no problems with them at all.The boot itself is actually really comfortable. The bottom is rubber and the chunky heel is comfortable. I have a foot that was mauled from an accident years ago, so finding any shoes is hard. These fit both my feet, and I strutted around Vegas all night not hating my life because my feet hurt.I never never wear heels anymore for that very reason, and these look amazing and fit right!Hope this helps y’all skinny legged gals out thereJust buy them. The're awesome. Wore them out dancing this weekend - didn't even need to break them in. They were so comfy.Pro tips:1. Buy a good fabric shoe spray to protect the material from winter weather like snow and slush.2. The soles are slippery (hard plastic) - so I took these to my local cobbler and had him add a nice rubber sole on which added additional comfort when walking and dancing.Friends fell in love with my boots and are now going to buy them as well...and I'm going to buy them in other colours.BUY THESE BOOTS!My wife is so pleased with this item she has problems with her feet but loves these bootsLove themWorth the price, I still didnt wear, but I tried and feels comfy, good product.Lovely fitting boots
