The two side pull on loops makes the boots easier to put on.

Searched high and low across the internet for THIS PAIR. These are gorgeous, and just the right height. I have been searching for a high-quality black pair of ankle boots for quite some time now, finally settling on these and hoping they would not disappoint. The oiled leather smells fabulous and as a heads up will leave little smears on your hands upon first handling). I have been walking in them all over the place to break them in with many compliments so far... they will be coming with me on a trip to Italy next month which should be a fabulous durability test - I will report back with any changes in total satisfaction.
